How to Remove Someone From a Junk Email Senders List in Outlook

Save

Productivity software such as Microsoft Outlook allows you to classify the sender of an email as a junk sender and will put all email from that sender into a Junk Mail folder. This helps you reserve your Inbox for important messages and still gives you the ability to browse junk mail at your convenience, just as you might with regular postal mail. If an email sender is inadvertently classified as a junk mail sender, you can remove that person from the junk mail list by reviewing the list and deleting the sender from the list.

  • Launch Microsoft Outlook. For example, click "Start -- All Programs -- Microsoft Office -- Microsoft Office Outlook."

  • Click "Actions -- Junk E-mail -- Junk E-mail Options..." to open the Junk E-mail Options window.

  • Click the "Blocked Senders" tab. Review the list of blocked senders, find the sender you want to remove from the junk email list and click the sender to highlight it.

  • Click the "Remove" button on the right. Click "OK" to close the Junk E-mail Options window.
