How to Convert an Excel File With Multiple Tabs to an Adobe PDF File

Adobe PDF files can be helpful when posting information online or sending it an outside party sinceas these documents are protected and cannot be modified by others. If the document that you're trying to convert to an Adobe PDF file is an Excel file with multiple tabs, you want to make sure that the information from each tab transfers over to the new document, so that none of the information is lost in the process.

  • Hold either the "Shift" or "Control" key down while clicking on each tab. You will know this worked because the selected tabs will be highlighted.

  • Go to the "File" menu, and select "Print." Make sure "active sheets" is selected in the print dialog box.

  • Choose "Adobe PDF" from the printer selection dropdown menu.

  • Click the "OK" button to create the PDF. Your document will be converted into an Adobe PDF file that will automatically appear on your screen after it is created.
