Turn on the computer to load the Windows Operating System.
Run the Dell Update BIOS Executable by clicking on its icon. This icon can be found in the folder you downloaded the BIOS update to. The Dell BIOS Flash utility program loads.
Press the "Continue" button to proceed. A message appears stating "Pressing OK will close all applications, shut down Windows, flash the BIOS, then reboot."
Press the "OK" button to commence with the BIOS flash. Windows shuts down and the Flash utility updates the BIOS. The computer restarts and the BIOS is updated.
