How to Convert a PDF to HTML in Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop can be used to convert many file types, including PDFs, into HTML using the program's built-in "Save for Web" feature. This will allow you to easily change the format of a PDF document to HTML in order to provide universal access to your website visitors who may not have Adobe Acrobat. In only a few simple steps, you can prepare any PDF file for the Web.

  • Open the PDF file you would like to convert in Adobe Photoshop. If there are multiple pages to the PDF, you will need to open each one individually and follow the steps to convert it.

  • Click on the "File" menu and select the option "Save for Web & Devices." In the next dialog box, adjust the image settings as you desire, or leave the default settings if you choose.

  • Click on "Save" in the dialog box and then select the location where you would like to save the HTML file. An HTML file and "Images" folder will be created, both of which must be kept together in order for the HTML to be viewed properly.
