Remove the underline from a hyperlink in Dreamweaver with a few mouse clicks.

Dreamweaver is a tool for designing and developing websites. It's a good choice if you don't have previous knowledge of markup language or inline styles. Dreamweaver can be used to create websites with a modern look and feel to them via the "what you see is what you get" interface. If you have a desire to remove the underlines from your hyperlinks, for instance, it can be easily done using Dreamweaver's built-in style manager.

Instructions

      Right-click on the hyperlink from which you want to remove the underline. Select "CSS Styles" and then "New."

      Enter a name for the new CSS class you are creating and click "OK."

      Click the checkbox for "None" in the "Decoration" section of the "Type" category, the click "OK." The underline will now be removed from your hyperlink.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you have named the new CSS class, you can take the underlines out from other hyperlinks by simply highlighting them with your mouse and selecting the class name from the "Style" drop-down menu of the Properties bar at the bottom of the screen.
