How to Make an Indian Top for Girls
A game of dress up is an entertaining way to pass a rainy day indoors. Kids of all ages enjoy dressing and acting like Indians. However, buying dress-up clothes can be expensive. Follow these easy do-it-yourself instructions for a paper Indian top that will keep your child entertained for hours.

Turn the bag inside out.

Flatten the grocery bag along the predetermined grocery store folds.

Cut a hole in the bottom of the bag to accommodate the child's head.

Cut an arm hole on each side of the bag.

Decorate the bag with Native American designs, such as feathers, leaves, geometric designs or handprints.

Allow the top to dry. Cut a straight line down the center of the top for larger children.

Roughly crinkle the bag for an authentic worn appearance.
Use only washable paints, markers or crayons, as the craft can become messy.
