Press buttons on the iPod Shuffle to change songs.

You can use optional Apple earphones with a remote control to change the songs playing on your iPod Shuffle, a portable music player made by Apple. Although you may find it convenient to use the earphone buttons, you don't need them to change songs on your Shuffle. The iPod Shuffle has no display, so you press buttons to skip forward or backward through your songs, or to select different playlists of songs.

Instructions

    • 1

Slide the three-way switch on the top of the device from the "Off" right position to the middle position to play songs in order or to the left position to play songs in random shuffle mode on your iPod Shuffle.
