How to Turn on the LCD Screen on a Cyberhome CH-LDV700B

The Cyberhome CH-LDV700B is a portable DVD system that features a 7-inch LCD screen, integrated rechargeable battery, supplied AC wall adapter, progressive scan capability, and stereo headphones. The portable DVD player also includes a standard monitor function, used to connect optional external A/V device such as a gaming system, TV tuner, or VCR. Connecting the Cyberhome CH-LDV700B to a compatible external device and using the monitor feature is an easy task that only takes a couple of minutes to complete.

Instructions

1. Turn off the portable device by pressing the "OFF" button, located near the DVD panel lid.

2. Connect the small end of the supplied video cable to the rear port labeled "VIDEO". Connect one of the remaining ends of the video cable to a compatible output port found on the external device. If possible, use the larger multi-pin S-video connector when connecting to an external device; the S-video cable connection will allow for better picture quality over the single-pin RCA composite connection.

3. Connect the small end of the audio patch cable to the corresponding rear connection found at the rear of the portable DVD player. Connect the remaining red and white RCA connectors to the corresponding audio outputs located on the external device.

4. Turn on the external device. Press and hold the portable DVD player's "ON" button to power the device.

5. Press the "Monitor" button on the portable DVD player twice to finish the process.
