How to Draw a Buck Deer
Deers are graceful creatures and part of the Artiodactyla family. A "buck" is one way to refer to a male deer. If you're attempting to draw this regal member of the animal kingdom, you're definitely in luck. You can create a modest but effective rendering of it, even if you aren't a professionally trained artist.
Instructions

1
Draw two circles of identical size. The circles will eventually be be the body of the buck.
-
2
Draw a smaller circle, approximately half the size of the two circles you just drew, a few inches above the far right circle.
-
-
3
Draw a vertical line extending a few inches down from the right circle. Draw two vertical lines extending down, slightly crossed, down from the left circle. These lines are where the legs will be.
-
4
Draw a curvy line across the top of your two big circles, both outlining and loosely connecting them. You've now drawn the back of your buck.
-
5
Extend the right side of curvy line along the left side of the top circle, extending 1 inch past it. You've just drawn one side of the buck's neck and the outline of one horn.
-
6
Extend the left side of the line of the around and down to the legs. Make a slight upwards curve to show the tail.
-
7
Outline the rest of the legs, neck, snout and face of the buck by lightly pushing your pencil around the shapes you've already drawn. Erase your circle guides that you drew in Step 1.
-
8
Draw four crisscrossed lines above the head as a guide line for the antlers. Outline the guide lines.
-
9
Shade in the remaining parts of your drawing to give the buck contour and dimension. For example, shade in the hooves and any shaky or wobbly lines. Draw the eyes of the buck in the appropriate place on its face. Make tick marks along the edge of the buck's breast to represent the ruffled fur.
