How to Clean an R230 Head
The Epson Stylus Photo R230 is a versatile inkjet printer, designed to print everything from documents to photographs. The R230 uses six individual-color ink cartridges resulting in less wasted ink per print. Each cartridge has several microscopic nozzles to dispense ink. If the nozzles clog, the prints produced from the printer may appear to be faded, out of alignment, or the printer may not print at all. To unclog the nozzles, Epson includes a cleaning mode that can be accessed from both Windows and Mac computers that attempts to remove clogs from the nozzles.
