How to Access Torrent Files
Torrent files are a quick way to transfer files, folders and applications from one computer to another. To access the data contained in a torrent file, you must use a torrent program such as BitTorrent, uTorrent or Transmission. Once the torrent file is loaded into the torrent program, it will download from a user or users' computers to your computer. Once the files listed in the torrent have completely downloaded, you can open them on your computer like any other file.

Download the torrent from your email program, or from a torrent search engine.

Double-click the torrent file to open it in your torrent program. Before downloading, the torrent program displays all of the files contained in the torrent.

Remove the checkmark beside each file that you do not want to download. Every file with a checkmark will be downloaded.

Click "OK" to add the torrent file to the torrent download window. The file will begin downloading immediately.

Right-click on the file after it is finished downloading and select "Open Containing Folder" to view the files downloaded.

Never download a torrent containing copyrighted material, such as a movie or album.
