How to Get the Halloween Axe in "Team Fortress 2"

You can craft an axe in "Team Fortress 2," but some of the needed materials are only available during Halloween.

"Team Fortress 2" is a first-person shooter game released in 2007 for the PC and Xbox 360 by Valve Corporation. "Team Fortress 2" players compete with each other in a variety of match types, ranging from capture-the-flag style objectives to team deathmatch modes. Playable roles include the Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Engineer, Heavy, Demoman, Spy, Sniper and Medic. Players have the ability to craft equipment from items they acquire in the game, including some special items that require materials only available during specific in-game holiday events.

Instructions

1. Click the "Manage Items" button on the game's main menu screen.

2. Click the "Crafting" button in the "Loadout" tab.

3. Drag and drop the following items from your inventory bag into the crafting box: 1 Scotsman's Skullcutter, 2 refined metals and 1"Unusual Haunted Metal Scrap. The Scotsman's Skullcutter is a craftable item. To receive the Unusual Haunted Metal Scrap, you must melee attack the Horseless Headless Horseman during the game's Halloween event and remain alive until he is killed. The refined metals can be crafted from collected scrap metals.

4. Click the "Craft It!" button below the crafting window to create the Halloween axe, called the Horseless Headless Horseman's Headtaker.

Tips & Warnings

• Although you can craft the Halloween axe at any time, some of the materials required to create it are only available during the game's Halloween event.
