While pretty much everyone has heard of Nike, not everyone is familiar with the Nike Air Yeezy. Nike Air Yeezy is the name of a shoe designed by Nike creative director Mark Smith, along with singer Kanye West. That's why the shoes sport the name "Yeezy," which is Kanye West's nickname. Because the shoes contain various distinctions in design and because such a famous celebrity had a hand in creating them, imitators abound with unauthentic copies of these shoes. However, if faced with a pair of shoes in question, you can determine in a matter of minutes if the shoes you're looking at are authentic or not.
Turn the shoe in question over and look at the sole. This is the easiest and fastest way to spot a fake. If the shoe does not have "Nike" carved into the bottom of the sole, they are fakes. Most fakes will have a sole with "Jordan" carved into the rubber.
Turn the shoe around in your hands. The stitches should be so slight that they're practically invisible. Small visible stitches or very clear obvious stitches along the leather are a clear sign of a fake pair.
Examine the shoes for seams. You will not be able to see the seams of authentic Nike Air Yeezys.
Look at the forefoot support strap. There should be no stitches whatsoever on that strap. Even small stitches on this strap are a sign of forgery.
Rub your fingers along the suede toe wrap. It should feel like real, rich suede. A fake will feel like fabric that is textured to resemble suede.
