How to Connect 4 iPhones for Multiplayer
Multiplayer functionality on an iPhone is achievable using iPhone's peer-to-peer connection capabilities. This means that you can connect multiple devices using a wireless signal. Once your devices are configured, you and your friends can play games, swap pictures, or stream video together. Make sure the application you want to use has a multiplayer option; if you don't see one, chances are that peer-to-peer connectivity is not possible. Not all applications for the iPhone allow peer-to-peer connectivity.
Things You'll Need

Have everyone load the application and locate the option for peer-to-peer connection. For games, this will most often be found as the multiplayer option on the menu screen. Once you choose this option, your phone will automatically search for another phone to connect to. Let it run through this process before proceeding.

Select either a Bluetooth or Internet connection. Everyone must choose the same option. If a member of your group does not have Bluetooth, you will all have to use an Internet connection. Make sure you each select the same Internet connection type. Your phones may pick up the closest wireless signal automatically, eliminating your need to select one yourself.

Choose which device you would like to connect to from the available list of devices in the area. When you select another iPhone, a connection request message will be sent to that phone. As soon as your friend accepts your request, the two phones will be linked and you can begin playing. In a group, each player must first accept every other person before you can play.
