Instructions

    • 1

Cut a portion of the silver doily's edge off for the crown. It can be as wide as you like, although about 3 inches works well. The doily's elaborately patterned edge mimic a real crown's metalwork.

    • 2

Lay the doily section flat and use self-adhesive rhinestones to decorate the peaks of the doily.

    • 3

Cut a piece of construction paper 2 inches wide, and make the paper band long enough to fit around your head.

    • 4

Staple the band to form a circle, and staple the silver decorated doily to what will be the front of your crown.

    • 5

Cut a length of feathers to fit around your crown's band. Staple them to the crown.
