    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Heavy paper or photo paper
    • Card stock (optional)
      • 1

Pick the best photos from your trip. How many depends on how many postcards you plan to send and whether you want to send a variety of images.

      • 2

Print your photo on high-quality photo paper. If you want to use regular paper, choose a heavier weight. If your printer does not accept heavy paper, use a strong glue to stick your picture to a neutral tone of card stock.

      • 3

Turn over the card. Use a ruler to draw a line parallel to the short edge close to the middle of the card.

      • 4

On the left side, write your message as you would on a normal postcard. On the right, place the stamp in the top corner and write the destination address below.

      • 5

Drop your custom postcard in the mail.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Several printing businesses will make individual or sets of customized postcards if you would rather leave it to a professional.
