How to Convert a Hard Drive to FAT32
The FAT32 file system will allow partitions of up to two gigabytes in size. Microsoft originally developed the system for Windows 95. If you want to convert a hard drive to the FAT32 file system, you must reformat it. There is no other way to convert the drive. Any files stored on the drive will disappear during the process. Make sure that the files are backed up on another drive before formatting the hard drive.
