How to Kill the Kalphite Queen in "RuneScape"
The Kalphite Queen is a high-level monster in the game of "RuneScape." She has a combat level of 333 and has two different forms. The first form is nearly immune to ranged or magic attacks, while the second form is immune to melee attacks. She is also surrounded by Kalphite Guardians who are level 141 and can poison you. A high level single player can kill the Kalphite Queen, but it is recommended to work as a group because of the danger.

- Full Veracs armor or other high-level armor
- Ranging gear if not using Veracs armor
- Super strength, attack and defense potions
- Cooked sharks
- Prayer potions
- Anti-poison potion
- Summoning familiar if going alone

Equip all of your armor and load your inventory with the potions, sharks and two ropes, if you have never been to the Kalphite Hive. If you have been to the hive but not to the queen, then you will only need one rope. If you have been to the queen before, you do not need to bring rope. Summon your beast of burden or fighting familiar if you are taking on the queen alone. Veracs armor is a reward from the Barrows activity and, when worn as a full set, gives large stat bonuses and a hefty prayer bonus that will help you defeat the queen.

Travel to the Kalphite Hive either through Shantay Pass or by using the Fairy Ring Teleport BIQ. Use a rope on the well to enter the hive and run through the hive to the entrance to the queen's dungeon. Stop in the hallway before you get to the Kalphite Guardians at the entrance to the queen's room.

Drink one dose of each of the super potions and turn on your prayers. Run past the guardians and use your second rope on the hole in the ground. Go down the hole and be prepared to be attacked by the queen if she is nearby.

Attack the Kalphite Queen with melee. If you are working with a team, have the team spread out evenly to force the queen to turn to attack each of you. For example, if two people are attacking her, one should stand at her front and the other at her back, so that she has to turn 180 degrees between attacks.

Eat food as your hit points get low. Do not let them get below 300, because the queen can cause that much damage and kill you. Keep track of your prayer points and drink prayer potions as they get low, as well.

Equip ranging armor and weapons after the first form of the queen dies. If you are using full Veracs, you do not need ranging equipment. You may choose to teleport out of the hive and quickly re-stock with food and potions and return to the Kalphite Hive at this point. The Kalphite Queen will not return to her first form if you do this quickly.

Attack the second form of the queen with ranging weapons. Eat sharks and drink prayer potions as necessary. After she dies, pick up and enjoy the spoils!

Tips & Warnings
The best prayer to use is "Protect from Magic" because the queen inflicts more damage with magic. You may also want to use "Protect Item" and a boost prayer such as "Piety." Using these prayers will help you not get hit as often or keep one more item if you die.
The Kalphite Queen is a very dangerous monster and you may die while fighting her. Keep this in mind when you are getting ready to set out, as you will lose items when your character is killed.
