How to Post a Twitter User Name
Posting a Twitter username on Twitter is called a "reply" or a "mention." It is most often used to comment on something that person tweeted, or to "retweet" someone's tweet to your followers, using "RT" and the username in the post. Mentions must include the "@" symbol to be recognized as a username on Twitter. A post that begins with a username is seen only by that person and anyone who is following both you and that person. A post that begins with any other text in front of the username is seen by that person, as well as everyone following you.
