How to Turn Off the Power Save on a Laptop
Windows 7 allows you to save energy by configuring the power settings on your system. For laptops, this power save feature is turned on by default, particularly when operating on battery power. Although this saves battery power, you may not appreciate your computer going to sleep after a certain period of inactivity. If you prefer not to use the power save feature, you can turn it off in Windows 7.
