1
Pick up a wooden paint stirrer, which are long, thin wooden sticks often given out for free at building supply stores.
-
2
Using a paint brush, coat the paint stirrer with a thin, even coat of clear polyurethane. Polyurethane can be found at building supply stores or craft stores and protects the wood from water damage.
-
-
3
Lay the paint stirrer on a sheet of wax paper and let dry thoroughly, at least three hours.
-
4
Attach a loofah sponge to the top of one end of the paint stirrer with an even line of Super Glue, which won’t wear down when wet.
-
5
Let the glue dry before using the back scrubber.
