  • Bar soap
  • Knife
  • Cooking pot
  • Spray bottle

      Cut up about three or four soap bars with a knife. Heat water in a pot but do not boil. Put the cut-up soap bars into the heated water. Allow the soap to dissolve until the mixture is a gelatin consistency.

      Spread the soap/water mixture onto the marble countertop. Allow to stand for a day, occasionally misting the mixture with a spray bottle to keep it moist. Rinse off with distilled water and then buff with a microfiber cloth. This will remove any dirt or grime accumulated during installation.

      Lightly spray the marble countertop with granite and marble cleaner and wipe down with a clean cloth or microfiber cloth. This will take up any left over residue from the soap and help to bring out the marble's shine.
