A ZTE phone is a line of modern cellphones manufactured by the Telstra Corp. that come with standard features, such as text-messaging, Internet access and a camera. One other common feature on these phones is a built-in MP3 player. They have even included easily accessible applications in the phone's menu that allow you to download music straight from the Internet and put it on your ZTE. Using these applications is pretty straightforward.
Step 1
Turn on your phone and press the "OK" key located in the center of the phone located just below the LCD screen to access the main menu. Select the "Games & Apps" icon from the main menu screen.

Use the arrow keys to scroll through the list of options on screen until you come to "Downloads." Press the "OK" key to select it.

Scroll through the list until you come to the "Music" option. Your phone will then connect to a download site where you can preview and purchase music.
Step 4
Scroll through the list of songs in the program menu until you come to one you like and press "OK" to select it. A list of options will appear in a drop-down menu next to the song.
Step 5
Choose "Purchase" from the list of options and confirm. The song will then be downloaded directly to your phone and available in the library of the "BigPond" music player program in the "Games & Apps" area of your phone.
