Save

A "map" is a term used to describe the levels in the computer game "StarCraft II." Certain programs allow you to create your own maps for use in online play with friends and enemies. If you've created a custom "StarCraft II" map that you want to use in the game, you will have to install it by placing the map files in the appropriate location.

  • Open the "Computer" icon on your Windows computer.

  • Double-click your user name folder.

  • Select "My Documents."

  • Open the "StarCraft II" folder.

  • Double-click "Maps." Copy all of the files relating to your custom maps into the directory open onscreen. Close the window. The maps will be available for play the next time you load a Battle.net session in "StarCraft II" via your online client.
