How to Change Languages on the Yahoo! Toolbar

Navigating around your Yahoo! page is difficult if it is in the wrong language. If you are located in a different country, Yahoo! may present all of your information, including your toolbar, in the language for that country. You also may have accidentally changed your language settings at some point and are unsure how to change them back. You can go to your Yahoo! account to change the language on your Yahoo! toolbar.

  • Sign in to your Yahoo! account.

  • Click the drop-down arrow to the right of your name in the upper left corner of your window.

  • Select "Account Info."

  • Enter your password again when prompted and hit "Enter" on your keyboard or click "Sign In."

  • Scroll down to "Account Settings" on your information page.

  • Click "Set language, site, time zone." The window shows your current time zone and language settings.

  • Hit the drop-down arrow to the right of the current language setting to expand your choices.

  • Find the language setting you want for your toolbar and select that option.

  • Click "Save." The changes will take effect next time you sign into Yahoo!.
