How to Embed Adobe Flash Player Audio

While Flash players often are used for videos and other kinds of moving objects -- such as games and puzzles -- there are also Flash audio players. If you have audio that you want to embed on your blog or Web page, you do not need to create your own Flash audio player. However, you do need to customize an existing Flash player so that it plays the audio file you want it to play.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your Web server.

    • 2

Open the HTML page on which you want to embed the Flash audio player.

    • 3

Insert the following embed code between the <body> and </body> tags:

      <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="http://www.website.com/song1.mp3" src="http://www.google.com/reader/ui/3523697345-audio-player.swf" width="400" height="27" quality="best"></embed>

Replace "http://www.website.com/song1.mp3" with the actual URL or file path of the audio file you want to play in the Flash player. You also may change the height and width settings if desired.

      Publish the page.
