Massachusetts may not be close to you, but that doesn't mean you can't find people there.

Finding a person in another state is somewhat challenging. However, the Internet provides us with useful tools such as search engines and people search databases. There's also the old standby: the phone book. Combining these methods is helpful in finding someone in Massachusetts, or any other state.

Instructions

Enter the person's name into an online people search database, such as 411 or zabasearch. Online people search databases contain different public records including birth certificates, dates of birth and current addresses. Enter "Massachusetts" into the search bar marked, "City, State, Zip Code," and the person's first and last name in the people search bar and see what results come up. Some of these search sites are free; others may cost a small fee.

Use a Massachusetts phone book if you have one available. Check for the person's name, home phone number and address in the book's White Pages section. Names are usually listed in alphabetical order, so first check for the person's last name.

Enter the person's name into a search engine. While Yahoo or Google might help you find the person, you can also use a "Deep Web" search engine, such as PiPl. Separate from standard engines, "Deep Web" search engines can comb through an underlying Internet section of hidden content. Because they can access the "Deep Web," these search engines are more likely to wield you information as to where in Massachusetts the person is residing.
