How to Turn Off Auto Formatting in Microsoft Works
In the Microsoft Works word processing software, the auto-format feature is called "AutoCorrect." This feature will make instant corrections to spelling, punctuation or grammatical errors that it perceives, based on your pre-set preferences or the existing database. If you find that it is correcting words improperly, or if you prefer to correct your own errors, turn the feature off by changing the option in your Accessories menu.
