How to Convert Pictures From a Word Document Into a JPEG
Word lets you use different picture formats within documents. When you save a Word document as a Web page, Word creates a folder for files you've used within your document, such as clip art and images. The folder is placed in the same location as the saved Web page. Word saves a copy of bitmaps as JPEGs and a copy of WMFs (file format for clip art from Microsoft's Clip Organizer) as GIFs. You can convert any images that don't convert into JPEGs from there.
