How to Draw a 44 Mag
The .44 Magnum revolver is one of the most recognizable and iconic handguns. Made popular by films such as "Dirty Harry", the .44 Magnum is known for its size and power. Drawing a basic side profile of the .44 Magnum revolver is simple if you have an eye for art and follow the proper steps.

Sketch the general outline of the revolver using the pencil and ruler. Stick with straight lines for your outline.

Fill in the curves of the grips, cylinder, sights, trigger and trigger guard. Write the worlds "Smith & Wesson" in the middle of the barrel a little above the barrel's center line. This should complete the general outline of the sketch and you should now be ready to draw the details of the gun.

Sketch in the details of the barrel, cylinder, hammer and grips. Sketch in the three screws in the side of the gun as well as the cylinder release lever.

Color the sketch in using the colored pencils or another form of colored media.
