How to Change Host Files in Windows Vista

One of the system files on Windows Vista is the host file, which can be used to redirect websites to different IP addresses depending on the settings in the hosts file. This host file is buried in the system files of the computer, and you can only edit it with a text editor opened in the proper manner.

      Click the "Start" menu, then type "Notepad" into the Vista search box.
