How to Sync the Bookmarks in Opera Mini and the iPhone

Opera Mini is a mobile browser optimized for use with mobile devices.

Opera Mini is Opera's mobile version of its desktop Web browser. The application is available for Android and iOS devices, making it an alternative to the stock Safari browser that comes preinstalled on every iPhone. Opera browsers come with the "Opera Link" feature that allows you to synchronize your Opera browser data across multiple platforms and devices. With "Opera Link," you can sync the bookmarks in Opera Mini in a few simple steps.

Instructions

1. Tap the "Opera Mini" application icon on the iPhone's home screen. Tap the menu icon shaped like a wrench to bring up the browser's menu. Tap the "Settings" icon to bring up the browser's settings.

2. Tap the "Opera Link" option to turn on the feature. Type a user name, password and email address in the spaces provided and tap the "Sign Up" button to create an Opera Link account.

3. Allow several seconds for Opera Link to synchronize your Opera Mini bookmarks with the Opera Link server. Tap the "OK" button when prompted that "Your browser data has been synchronized." These bookmarks can now be accessed by any browser, including the iPhone's default browser, by visiting www.link.opera.com and logging into your Opera Link account.
