How to Get to the Pharmacy in "Pokemon HeartGold"
In "Pokemon: HeartGold," the player navigates his way through several fictional regions to capture fighting creatures called Pokemon. Along the journey to become the best Pokemon trainer, the player will access locations necessary for the completion of side quests. The pharmacy in Cianwood City provides healing and reviving potions in addition to enabling the player to access important items. Pokemon with surfing or flying capabilities are necessary to reach the Cianwood City Pharmacy. The surfing ability may also prove useful in capturing different types of Pokemon in the area.

Travel to the Johto region on your map. The Johto region is located in the south central area of the large landmass that also includes the Fiore and Orre regions.

Move to the southwestern section of the Johto region. You will find Cianwood City to the southwest of Whirl Islands and to the west of Goldenrod City. You will need to use the "Surf" ability to swim to Cianwood City.

Travel to the southern part of Cianwood City to find the Pharmacy. Enter the pharmacy and speak to the character behind the counter.

Tips & Warnings
The Olivine Gym Leader Jasmine will not be present in her gym when you initially travel to Olivine City. You will find her in the Glimmering Lighthouse, where she is concerned about her sick Ampharos, nicknamed "Sparkle." You must travel to the Cianwood City Pharmacy to obtain the "Special Potion." Take it to Jasmine to heal the Pokemon. You will now be able to battle her in the Olivine Gym.
You cannot gain the "Special Potion" from the Cianwood City Pharmacy until you talk to Jasmine. Until that point, you will be able to purchase healing potions and other items for your Pokemon at the pharmacy.
Enter a house on the west of Cianwood City and speak to the man there. He will give you the Pokemon Shuckle.
Exit Cianwood City to the west and head toward Cliff Cave. Use a Pokemon's "Surf" ability on the waterfall in the area to discover the White Flute item.
