However, if you do not have a perfect recall of all the possible soundalikes in the English language, numerous tools are available in print and online to help you find the perfect rhyme.

Turn on your computer, open your Internet browser, and type "rhyming dictionary" into your favorite search engine. You will find a long list of free rhyming dictionaries. Alternatively, seek a printed rhyming dictionary if you prefer working with a book.

Type in the word for which you'd like to find a rhyme within the search field of your chosen website. Press return and consider the results. If using a book, look up the word.

Browse through the results and choose the rhyming words that best fit your purpose. Some websites offer advanced features providing rhymes and phrases in different contexts, for example Shakespearean or Biblical rhymes and fairy tales.
