How to View a Resource Calendar in Outlook


Microsoft Outlook's resource calendars are generally shared calendars that are tied to certain accounts, on the Microsoft Exchange Server. If your particular office division has a shared group, a resource calendar may be associated with that account. To add a resource calendar in Microsoft Outlook, you add a general Shared Calendar. This works just the same as if you were to set up a personal shared calendar, and distribute it with others.

  • Open "Microsoft Outlook."

  • Click "Calendar."

  • Click "Open Calendar," then "Open Shared Calendar."

  • Click "Name." Click your resource calendar from the list.

  • Click "OK."
