How to Make an ISO File on Nero
An ISO file is actually a single file containing many different files. An ISO represents an image of the contents of an entire optical disc. For example, you can store a data disc containing software, pictures and music on a computer in a single ISO file. Make an ISO file by using the Nero software to prepare and write the ISO image.

Open Nero Burning ROM.

Choose "CD-ROM (ISO)" or "DVD-ROM (ISO)," depending on the type of ISO you want to burn.

Drag files into the ISO compilation pane in Nero.

Press "Ctrl" and "R" simultaneously.

Double-click "Image Recorder."

Click "Burn," then "Burn" in the new window that opens.

Choose a save location and type in a file type. Click "ISO Image Files" in the "Save as type" drop-down menu.

Click "Save" to create the ISO image file.
