How to Uninstall a Java Console Add-On
A Java console add-on prompts for an installation when you go to a website that requires Java to run. Java is a small program installed on Web browsers to enhance the experience of surfing the Internet. With Java, animations and videos are possible. One common issue with Java is that when an updated version comes out, it doesn't uninstall or remove earlier versions. It simply installs itself on top of previous versions. This can create issues in Web browsing because some websites are only compatible with some versions of Java. Remove earlier versions through the Add/Remove programs tool.
