Tiger Bloom is a liquid fertilizer.

Tiger Bloom is a chemical fertilizer manufactured by FoxFarm Soil & Fertilizer Company in North America. It is designed to support the growth of plants during flowering and to help fertilize leaves. Tiger Bloom is high in phosphorus and nitrogen, and this chemistry supports plant growth during flowering and keeps the pH level low. The product is bought as a liquid and diluted in water. Using Tiger Bloom is easy, provided you follow the correct guidelines.

Instructions

    • 1

Fill the bucket with 1 gallon -- or 4.5 liters -- of water.

    • 2

Add 3 tsp. of Tiger Bloom to the water and stir thoroughly. You can shake the bucket to mix it or use a long stick.

    • 3

Water your plants or shrubs using the Tiger-Bloom-and-water mixture. Make sure you water the plants only when they are flowering, once the buds begin to open. Tiger Bloom helps support growth of the stem, leaves and other green parts of the plant during flowering.

    • 4

Put on a pair of gardening gloves and tip a small amount of Tiger Bloom -- one-fifth of a cup is plenty -- into a cup. You can add more later if you need to.

    • 5

Dip the brush in the Tiger Bloom fertilizer and shake off the excess over the cup to avoid waste.

    • 6

Brush the leaves of the plant with the Tiger Bloom. FoxFarm recommends applying the fertilizer early in the morning for best results. Paint the leaves lightly with the chemical.
