Instructions

    • 1

Brew your coffee according to your specific likes and tastes. The coffee can be any brand you choose and can be brewed however you wish.

    • 2

Fill a glass full of ice cubes. Ice cubes are preferable because crushed ice will melt too quickly to work.

    • 3

Fill the cup with milk to the desired amount. You can also add sugar during this step.

    • 4

Pour warm (not hot) coffee over ice into cup. The reason you want warm and not hot coffee is because piping hot coffee may melt the cubes too quickly.

    • 5

Stir the icy coffee, plunk a straw in and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can alternatively use instant coffee and simply mix the instant coffee with warm (not hot) water and mix until combined then follow the rest of the steps to make an icy coffee.

  • If you have left over coffee, fill the ice trays with it and put in the freezer. In the future, you can use these instead ice cubes, which can water down your coffee.
