How to Put an Image on Craigslist

When you want to sell an item or find someone to lease an apartment, posting an ad on Craigslist is a way to find interested individuals without having to pay for an ad in a newspaper or other publication. To help make your ad more appealing to the reader, it is a good idea to include a photo so she can visualize the item. If you want to include a photo, Craigslist gives you the option to do so at no additional charge.

Instructions

1. Log in to your account on the Craigslist homepage. Select the city where you want to add a post.

2. Click "Post to Classifieds" on the left side of the Craigslist page.

3. Click the type of posting you are creating. Click "Continue."

4. Complete the form required for Craigslist posts. You must include certain information, such as a post title and post description. Completing this form thoroughly helps you catch the attention of the reader.

5. Click "Add/Edit Images" at the bottom of the form.

6. Click "Choose File," and then click the image you want to include in your post. You can add up to four images.

7. Click "Continue" after adding all the images.
