How to Send a Funny Anniversary Card
While there is occasion for seriousness on an anniversary, sometimes a funny anniversary card is just what the situation needs. Whether you decide to create your own card, purchase a card, or send an e-card, just a few simple steps stand between you and sending the perfect anniversary card. Be sure to send a card whose humor is appropriate to the couple; while being funny is the goal, being offensive is probably not in your best interest.

1
Determine what kind of card you want to send. If you want to to make the card, find a funny joke or write an anecdote on the card. Visit a store that sells cards and go to the humor section if purchasing a card.
-
2
Insert the card into an envelope. The front of the card should face the back of the envelope to allow for easy reading.

3
Write the recipient's address on the front center of the envelope, with your return address on the upper left-hand corner. Place the appropriate stamp in the upper right-hand corner of the envelope. The United States Postal Service now allows you to purchase and print your own postage from home. (Reference 2)

Place the envelope in the mail; you can drop it at a local post office or in your own mailbox with the flag up to allow the mail person to know you have outgoing mail.
