How to Permanently Block Caller ID
There are two ways to block caller ID on most phone systems. Block caller ID on a per-call basis by dialing a short code before the call, or block caller ID on all calls. Unlike per-call blocking, permanently blocking your caller ID number requires a change to your account. Most carriers require you to contact their customer support and add the feature. Some carriers charge extra for permanent blocking.
