Bed bugs are incredibly stubborn and can be hard to truly remove since they hide in places besides the sheets. The best way to get rid of them is to treat the entire bed and the area around it as well. Bed Bug Powder is a product that can cleanse your bed of a bed bug infestation if it is used the right way. Killing all the bed bugs and making sure they don't come back will require a few steps to work in conglomeration with the Bed Bug Powder to ensure it works at its best.
Things You'll Need
- Laundry detergent
- Steam cleaner
- Old sock
Remove all sheets and pillowcases and wash them as usual using your regular laundry detergent. Select the highest heat setting possible. The hot water will kill the bed bugs.
Run a steam cleaner over all hidden cracks and crevices of the bed, including the frame and the headboard.
Fill an old sock with Bed Bug Powder and tap it repeatedly over the entire surface area of both the mattress and the box spring. Tapping the sock will distribute the powder evenly over the bed and kill all bed bugs on contact.
