How to Copy & Paste Album Artwork in iTunes

Download music from the iTunes store and your files will automatically have the right album artwork attached to them. Upload music from a CD or other source, however, and you will have manually add artwork to the files. iTunes will search for the correct artwork for your files and add it in just a few seconds. If you have the artwork for at least one track on the album, copy and paste the image to the other songs.

  • Right-click on a file and select "Get Info" from the menu.

  • Click on the "Artwork" tab.

  • Right-click on the picture of the album cover and select "Copy." Click "OK" to close the screen.

  • Right-click on a second file and select "Get Info."

  • Click on the "Artwork" tab then click anywhere inside the empty box and select "Paste." Click "OK."
