How to Make a Page Scroll Using the Arrows

Save

In addition to using a scroll bar on a Web page or document that you are viewing, you can also use some of the keys on your keyboard to scroll through a document. You may already know that using the space bar allows you to quickly scroll to the end of a document, but you also can use the "Up" and "Down" arrows to scroll through a page.

  • Click your cursor on the page through which you want to scroll.

  • Press the "Down" arrow key to scroll down or the "Up" arrow key to scroll up.

  • Press the "Left" or "Right" arrow keys and "Ctrl" to scroll from one word to the next in a document or page where the cursor is visible. Press only the "Left" or "Right" arrow keys to scroll through a document or page, one letter at a time.
