View the photos you took during a photo shoot instantly on your computer. If you have a computer nearby, you should be able to hook up your digital camera to it. Once you install the appropriate software and drivers, you will be able to view your photos. The photos will be larger than they appear on your digital camera's LCD display. This it makes it easier for you to decide whether you want to delete or edit your photos.
Things You'll Need
- USB cable
Install the software that came with your digital camera. This comes in the form of a CD-ROM. Insert the disc into your computer's disc drive. Read and accept the software agreement, and save the software to your computer hard drive. Allow your computer to restart.
Plug the USB cable into your digital camera. Insert the other end into an available USB port on your computer. Wait for your computer to recognize your device and install the appropriate drivers. The drivers allow your computer and camera to communicate.
Insert the memory card into its slot on your camera. With the pictures saved on your camera's memory card, your computer will allow you to view them.
Click "Start" and "Computer." Double-click your camera's folder. It should say your camera's manufacturer's name or "Removable Device." You can now view your photos, print them out, edit them or share them via email.
