How to Find Troll Beads

Most major cities have stores that sell Troll Beads.

Troll Beads are oversized beads with large holes. Typically strung on lengths of gold or silver snake chain, jewelry made with Troll Beads is versatile because the wearer can quickly remove the clasp on the chain and change the beads to achieve a different look.



The holes in Troll Beads are covered with metal grommets to protect them from wear and tear as they slide freely on the snake chain. Troll Beads are relatively expensive; as of April 2011, beads with silver grommets cost at least $20 each. Troll Beads with gold grommets cost more than $100 each.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Trollbeads Universe website. The site will automatically attempt to determine your location. The sidebar at the top right will display "Your nearest retailers might be" and list two or three of the closest stores that sell Troll Beads.

2. Click on any of the store names to bring up contact information, such as the store's street address, phone number, or email address. You'll also see a map, along with a link to generate driving directions to the store.

3. Click on the "Find a retailer" link located in the right sidebar if you want to search for Troll Beads in a different city. A query box appears, asking you to enter a full address. To run searches faster, you can simply enter a zip code without any other information. For example, entering "90210" -- the zip code for Beverly Hills, California -- returns results of ten stores scattered across the Southern California region from Santa Ana to Oxnard. A map appears pinpointing the location of all the stores listed.
