How to Unistall Bearshare
Bearshare used to be one of the premier free file-sharing programs on the Internet before a court settlement with the Recording Industry Association or America brought the service to its knees. Bearshare still exists as a free download, but much of the service's content now requires a premium service subscription. Users who don't want to pony up the cash can delete the program. To completely eradicate Bearshare from your Windows 7 system, you will need to uninstall the main program and the Bearshare Mediabar.

Tips & Warnings
Check Bearshare's folder for an uninstall executable file if you don't see the program in the "Uninstall or Change a Program" interface.
If the message "Unable to find install.log" appears during a failed removal, you will need to download and install the newest version of Bearshare, then attempt the uninstall a second time.
