  • Almond slices (slivers)
  • Baking sheet
  • Spatula

Instructions

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

      Place almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet.

      Roast almond slices for about 12 to14 minutes, taking the pan out to toss the slices with a spatula every four minutes.

      Watch almonds carefully so they do not burn during the last minutes of cooking.

      Remove slices from the oven and allow them to cool on a plate for 10 to 15 minutes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Almonds can go from just right to extremely burnt very quickly, so be prepared to move them from the oven to the plate quickly.
