How to Get the Google Earth Ship Simulator
You can simulate piloting different types of ships with the Ship Simulator, using the Google Earth Browser plug-in. After you install the free plug-in, visit the Ship Simulator website, where you will see a control panel and a view of a harbor. Select a ship to pilot, such as a closed river barge, a cruise ship or a container ship. Click on a location on Google's map of the world and then click "Go There." Press the arrow keys on your computer's keyboard to pilot the ship in the area you selected, using Google Earth imagery.
